Award-winning social worker, national advisor, and PhD researcher Michael Elwan reflects on graduating from the Kaleidoscope Mentoring Program and supporting skilled migrant mentees.

The Kaleidoscope Mentoring Program 2020 - Cycle 2 Graduation Ceremony was a memorable evening shared with Hon. Paul Papalia CSC MLA, Mayor Mark Irwin from the City of Stirling, Hon. Vince Connelly MP, and Mayor Patrick Hall from the City of Canning.

It was a privilege to be part of a program that supports skilled migrants to navigate the Australian job market, while fostering diversity, inclusion, and professional growth.

Mentoring is always a two-way journey. I’ve learned as much from my mentees as they have from me; their resilience, determination, and insights continue to inspire me. I look forward to supporting new mentees as they take their next steps toward meaningful employment and community contribution in Australia.

A heartfelt thank you to the Kaleidoscope Mentoring Program team for leading such a valuable and empowering initiative.

Here’s to mentorship, community, and building lasting pathways to success.
