Who can use the service
Adults with self-managed or plan-managed NDIS funding seeking psychosocial social work linked to their disability-related needs and goals. We assess whether the proposed support is within scope and suitable for online delivery.

What telehealth social work includes
Psychosocial capacity building, family and carer capacity building linked to participant goals, and agreed progress or review reporting.
For individual therapy, EMDR is the modality I offer. Clinical suitability and NDIS funding eligibility are assessed separately before work begins. The individual EMDR page explains the approach, research and appointment format.

Funding and claiming
The proposed support must meet NDIS funding requirements. Clinical mental health treatment is generally the responsibility of the health system. Having an NDIS plan does not automatically make EMDR eligible for funding.

For eligible services, invoices are provided to the plan manager or self-managed participant, as agreed.

What is not included
Support coordination is not included. LEXs does not accept NDIA-managed participants. This is not an acute crisis service. Service fit and telehealth suitability are confirmed before work begins.

Referral process
Referrals acknowledged within one business day; intake within five; suitability assessed.

Fees and documents
Fees, applicable support items and invoicing arrangements are agreed in writing before services begin. Reports and other work outside appointments are scoped and priced in advance. Cancellation terms are confirmed in the service agreement and must meet applicable NDIS requirements.
