I am delighted to announce a new course I have co-created with my colleague Almudena for the WA Recovery College Alliance (WARCA). This free, community-based program invites people from every walk of life to explore recovery as a journey of learning, connection, and hope.
WA Recovery College courses are co-designed by people with lived and professional experience, offering a unique space where knowledge is shared rather than prescribed, and where participants are partners in their own growth.
What Participants Can Expect
This WA Recovery College course invites participants to explore recovery as learning, connection, and shared growth. It offers practical tools and shared learning for anyone seeking to understand and nurture their own wellbeing. Together we will explore ways to build personal agency, strengthen relationships, and create space for healing. Sessions are interactive and grounded in co-creation, so each participant’s wisdom becomes part of the learning experience.
The WA Recovery College Alliance provides this course at no cost, making it accessible to all Western Australians who wish to take part. It’s an opportunity to connect with others, reflect on what recovery means to you, and leave with strategies you can use immediately.
I invite you to join us, or to share this WA Recovery College course with someone who may benefit. By learning together, we create a community that honours lived experience, celebrates culture, and moves beyond tokenism toward true transformation.
