Cancellation Policy

At LEXs, we honour the time, energy, and commitment that both clients and practitioners bring to the therapeutic process. Consistent attendance plays a vital role in building momentum, trust, and progress in your healing journey. Our cancellation policy follows standard practice across counselling and psychotherapy in Australia, ensuring clarity, fairness, and mutual respect. We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 72 hours’ notice by texting 0411 198 607 or emailing michael@lexs.com.au This allows us to offer your session time to someone on the waitlist who may be in urgent need of support. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice or non-attendance will incur a fee equal to the full session rate. This approach aligns with ethical practice and ensures we can continue to offer equitable access to care. Whenever possible, rescheduling is preferred over cancellation. If adequate notice is provided, we’ll find a new appointment time and no fee will apply. We appreciate your understanding and your commitment to maintaining this shared therapeutic space.
