I'm Michael Elwan - an Accredited Social Worker (AASW), PhD candidate in mental health, and the founder of LEXs. I bring over 15 years of professional experience and a deep personal understanding of mental health, disability, grief, and cultural identity. As someone with a lived experience of caring, navigating systems, and rebuilding hope through trauma, I offer a unique, grounded approach to counselling that respects your story and your pace.
I’ve worked across frontline, senior management, and advisory roles - from managing state-wide outreach services to sitting on national suicide prevention panels.
