The Kaleidoscope Mentoring Program 2020 – Cycle 2 Graduation Ceremony was a memorable evening shared with Hon. Paul Papalia CSC MLA, Mayor Mark Irwin (City of Stirling), Hon. Vince Connelly MP, and Mayor Patrick Hall (City of Canning).

It was a privilege to be part of a program that supports skilled migrants to navigate the Australian job market, while fostering diversity, inclusion, and professional growth.

Mentoring is always a two-way journey. I’ve learned just as much from my mentees as they have from me - their resilience, determination, and unique insights continue to inspire me. I look forward to working with new mentees, supporting them as they take the next steps toward meaningful employment and community contribution in Australia.

A heartfelt thank you to the Kaleidoscope Initiative for leading such a vital and empowering program.

Here’s to mentorship, community, and creating lasting pathways to success.

Together, transforming Australian multicultural mental health through

lived experience leadership

Lived Experience Solutions (LEXs) acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respect to them and their cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.

We place lived experience at the core of our efforts, acknowledging the crucial role of consumers, families, and supporters in mental health, substance use, and criminal justice. We value the wisdom of culturally diverse individuals, their families, and kinship groups, whose expertise from living with mental health, neurological disorders, or substance use is central to our work.
